PREMIËR DECK

Founded in 1971 by Richard Sweet, a retired Grand Haven school teacher, Marüshka became a screenprinting powerhouse, taking Andy Warhol’s ideals of art as mass production to a next level. Marüshka helped make art attainable to the masses and to this day, you kind find these hand screened pieces in garage sales and elderly people’s homes across the country. Inspired by the colors and shapes of the Marüshka beach motif, this board documents a picturesque scene from the shores of Ludington with a veneer reveal in Lake Michigan.
