As a co-founder and chairman of a non-profit group whose aim was to supply Grand Rapids with it’s first skatepark, a logo and website was used to launch the concept and cover it’s growth. In collaboration with the city of Grand Rapids an abandoned park tennis court has been reborn into a skatepark with a DIY community spirit. This community led effort has continued to grow and spark changes within the park with an ultimate goal for a full park build out. The logo utilizes the city’s most iconic image, the Calder sculpture, in a reimagined form as a Phoenix.
